Employment: Full Time

This is an unprecedented opportunity to strengthen the Kingdom’s engagement with major economies of the world and to influence outcomes for the benefit of the global economy and Saudi Arabia. It is also an opportunity to improve Saudi policies and support the implementation of the Vision 2030 objectives.

The Saudi Secretariat, a newly-established semi-government entity, is seeking candidates. The Secretariat offers one of the best working environments, challenging and rewarding work, and the opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders across the Kingdom and internationally.

We are looking for highly-motivated staff who have several of the following qualifications and experiences to become Policy Experts.

Requirements

Education:
• Graduate Degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) – in the following fields: economics, public policy, political economy, international relations, international finance, global communications and public relations

Skills:
• A strong understanding of domestic and global economic, financial or socio-economic policies (including macroeconomic policy, investment, and infrastructure, financial regulation, taxation, trade, employment, energy, digital economy, development, agriculture and anti-corruption) and the ability to think strategically about these issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluency in both Arabic and English)
• Analytical skills and ability to conduct research and write policy briefs and notes
• Manage competing projects, timeframes, and priorities
• Engage with the senior leadership of government entities in the Kingdom and external stakeholders
• The ability to represent Saudi Arabia internationally as part of delegations

Our organization is the secretariat of a premier forum for international economic cooperation which is consisted of 19-member countries and the European Union. We are leading the policy planning and event operations for all the events which will take place in 2020 by working collaboratively with all levels of the government and commercial partners.
