The Principal Engineer, Automation & Digitalization plays a crucial role in driving automation projects, enhancing digital workflows, and leveraging advanced analytics tools to optimize business processes in Engineering and Project Management Organization.

Client Details

My client is a major mining and minerals company in Saudi Arabia. They operate several large mining and processing plants across the Kingdom and is one of the world's fastest-growing mining companies, playing a key role in Saudi Arabia's industrialization and economic diversification.

Description

* Lead the design, development, and implementation of digitalization and automation strategies to improve operational efficiency
* Design, develop, and implement automated systems and digital solutions to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
* Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
* Lead the implementation of Project Management system Contruent Enterprise and other project management tools, such as Unifier, Power BI to meet organizational requirements and enhance project management processes.
* Monitor and analyze the performance by using the automation and digitalization tools and identifying areas for improvement.

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Minimum 10+ years of experience in Engineering & Project Management automation and digitalization, with a proven track record of successful project implementation.
* Preferred certifications include digitalization and automation qualifications.
* Strong expertise in automation tools used in projects.
* Proficiency in analytics tools and visualization tools such as Power BI, Python, R, SQL, and Tableau.
* Experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and data warehousing solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex automated projects, with experience in project management methodologies and tools
