Principal Business Solution Architect, Human Resources Line of Business Job

The LoB People is a strategic market for SAP with extraordinary perspectives for growth. Our consulting organization supports MENA-wide projects and customer engagements with various services. As an industry thought leadership role, be able to engage deeply with our customers in understanding their business requirements, evolving the desired solution landscape, and positioning new solutions and services to customers around key HR business process areas. This is a key “value-generation” role within customer engagements. In this endeavor, one may need to complement the account teams by working closely with the LoB, CD, GDC and other internal entities, in evolving and packaging unique HR-centric solutions. Ability to document and create demo scenarios and envisioning the solution approach would be essential.

Sound knowledge and experience of integrating with other niche solutions (such as Analytics, Opentext, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, Mobility, etc.) would be necessary to provide a more comprehensive solution offering to our customers.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
• Take leadership role in engaging with large and strategic customers – portray a trusted-advisory role for SAP HR solutions and processes.
• Engage with C-level stake-holders in understanding business requirements, current solution landscape and propose new solutions and applications that provide enhanced value from customer perspective.
• Hand-on experience on product areas (HCM, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass), ability to create demo scripts and configure scenarios in SAP essential.
• Create a compelling solution framework including the solution process landscape, integration touch-points and showcase business benefits / RoI calculations.
• Work on customer RFP’s with our account teams, create the necessary value-proposition an package the service offerings that makes it a winning deal.
• Provide expert consulting services for customers and projects around the HR solution area.
• Work closely with Account teams in prospecting new / increased opportunities and engagements.
• Manage internal stakeholders, esp. in new / ramp-up solution deployment.
• Contribute to enhancing the knowledge management process within the LoB – create business best practices, process flows, templates and support packaged service offerings where necessary.

Requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE:
10-12 years of LoB People / Project management / Solutioning experience – excellent understanding of HR business processes, solutions and applications, and ability to comprehend and apply business process best practices.


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Graduate / Post-Graduate degrees in Management or Engineering areas.
• Certified / Trained in the SAP LoB People product areas with minimum 5 end-to-end project experience covering SAP HCM, ESS/MSS, SuccessFactors and the integration between on-premise HCM and cloud-based SuccessFactors.
• Good knowledge of the SAP solution framework, industry solution areas, ASAP and ACTIVATE methodologies and Solution Manager.
• Cross-solution knowledge preferred (FICO, BOBJ, EAM, Mobility, etc.).
• Adept at handling project communications, capable of having C-level interactions and engaging with senior management stake-holders, managing expectations and proposing value-based offerings.
• Strong presentation and communication skill set necessary – ability to comprehend business requirements and create a strong value for the proposed solution architecture.
