Job description / Role
An exciting and immediate opportunity exists within a truly International Consultancy for a Principal Project Engineer (Electrical) to work on a large-scale Multi-Story Building complex in Saudi Arabia
Reporting to the Manager Engineering Projects you will be responsible for supervision and coordination of activities of Senior Project Engineer and other personnel. Provide technical support to project management across all disciplines to coordinate the development and implementation of the engineering portions of assigned projects. This busy role will encompass:
• Provide electrical input to all projects and programs, inter-disciplinary reviews of A/E designs
• Plan and schedule work, determine work load and assignments of group.
• Coordinate the compilation of technical portions of RFP
• Analyze data pertaining to client requirements
• Coordinate with engineering the development of design specifications
• Monitor technical progress of A/E contractor
• Coordinate the review of design drawings, specifications, manuals, shop drawings, vendor data etc.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you must have a degree in engineering (Electrical) with 12+ years’ post-graduate experience including extensive design experience related to large-scale community and infrastructure development with emphasis on site development. The candidate must be LEED certified with a proven record of technical and administrative ability in project & Design management. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English is essential
