Our newest opportunity is for a talented Principal Roads Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, KSA.

This position is responsible in monitoring and ensuring that KEO infrastructure projects are of the highest technical quality and at par with international engineering practice standards.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Leading a team of professional employees, driving increased organizational performance and achievement of team goals.
- Developing and implementing measures to mitigate project-related financial and business risks, in partnership with Project Managers and Project Directors.
- Building technical capability of others and actively transfer technical expertise within the organization.
- Preparing proposals and conducts presentations to clients where required.
- Analyzing existing work processes, procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies, cost-effectiveness and service improvements.
- Preparing, planning and controlling financial budgets and team resources in order to deliver required commercial outcomes.
- Preparing and managing complex project programs and project contracts.
- Participating in agreed business development activities.
- Leading and developing strong communication and working relationships with staff, management, subcontractors, public agencies and clients which support collaborative work practices.
- Ensuring the effective functioning of large/complex and/or multidisciplinary teams by using appropriate interpersonal styles to promote team cohesion and collaboration.
- Providing feedback and day-to-day coaching.
- Fostering a working environment that promotes a learning culture and supports career planning strategies of team members to meet future development needs.
- Creating a safety culture within area of responsibility to ensure all work is completed in accordance with KEO health and safety policies.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include at-least 12 years experience in a consultancy environment, of which at least 7 years were spent working on projects within the GCC partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
- Membership of transportation professional institutions or professional accreditations such as IEng, CEng or PE will be viewed favourably.
