As a proactive monitoring specialist, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing system performance, identifying potential issues, and taking proactive measures to mitigate any risks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of our clients' IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance and availability of IT systems and infrastructure using monitoring tools and techniques
• Analyze system logs and alerts to identify potential issues and vulnerabilities
• Take proactive measures to ensure system performance, availability, and security
• Create and maintain documentation for monitoring procedures and processes
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Recommend and implement improvements to monitoring tools and processes for continuous enhancement
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in proactive monitoring

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a proactive monitoring specialist or similar role
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques, such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds
• Experience in analyzing system logs and alerts to identify potential issues
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks
