Process Engineer

Job description / Role

- Provide engineering support in manufacturing including training staff in assembly processes.
- Develop, document, implement, upgrade and sustain production processes and techniques
- Improve quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of processes in accordance with strategic objectives.
- Prepare process documentation and operating instructions.
- Develop best practices, tooling, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality.
- Continuously identify, measure, follow, and improve Processes.
- Implement lean system in the factory.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Five years minimum experience in wiring technology and mechanical assembly for automation and protection panels.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years minimum experience in manufacturing of electrical equipment, such as switchgear and protection panels.
- Good CAD skillls
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with IPC, JEDEC, and Belcore industry standards
- Knowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurements
- Ability to train production staff
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
