Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of developing a dynamic and innovative residential sector in Saudi Arabia. We are searching for a strategic and results-driven Director - Procurement (Residential) to lead our procurement initiatives within the residential projects segment. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring materials and services critical for our residential developments while ensuring value, quality, and compliance with organizational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies tailored to the needs of residential projects.
• Oversee and manage the entire procurement cycle, from pre-qualification of suppliers to contract negotiation and management.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineering teams to align procurement activities with project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high standards of service and product delivery.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations while promoting ethical purchasing practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering professionalism and continuous improvement.
• Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management regarding procurement activities and project budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• At least 10-15 years of procurement experience within the residential construction or real estate sectors.
• Proven track record of managing complex procurement processes and supplier negotiations.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics and procurement best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
• Familiarity with procurement software and contract management systems.
