Job description / Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will support the purchasing process in the fast-paced FMCG and Facilities Management sectors. Your responsibilities will include assisting in sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing, and ensuring the timely delivery of janitorial products and services to meet our business needs. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of janitorial and facilities management products for the organization.
- Support the Buyer in identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and pricing.
- Help in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy in all procurement documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand for timely reordering of products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
