Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Procurement Manager will work on the procurement elements of projects and will be responsible for the day to day onsite procurement activities. As required, Client liaison will be provided and manage liaison with other appointed consultants, representatives and entities. This role will be varied in its scope depending on the project requirements. The Procurement Manager will be providing input into the creation of standardized procurement processes and procedures for the project for approval by the Client. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement activities comply with these approved processes and procedures.

General Procurement Activities to be managed/supported by the Procurement Manager:
- Process and Procedures review and confirmation/establishment
- Procurement Strategy development
- Procurement Programme and Tracker establishment
- Pre-Qualification process and evaluation
- Solicitation of Interest process
- Request for Proposal / Tender Document drafting
- Tender process management including Tender Clarification process
- Tender Evaluation process and Final recommendations report production
- Contract Drafting and Execution

Requirements

Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role in GCC
- Detailed technical Procurement knowledge
- Local Supply Chain knowledge
- Skilled Negotiator
- Professional report and letter writing
- Man Management experience
- Tender management
- Client / Stakeholder management

Preferred Requirements:
- CIPS or RICS membership
- Degree qualified
