Job description / Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for janitorial items and other essential materials in the facilities management sector. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing costs and ensuring the availability of high-quality products, directly impacting our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze suppliers to identify the best purchasing options.
- Manage the procurement process including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and establish optimal purchasing plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stakeholders to prevent shortages in supplies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring outstanding service and product quality.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors for favorable terms and conditions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the FMCG or facilities management sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze market trends, assess supplier options, and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
