Production Manager

Production Manager - Dammam, KSA

We are a UAE based recruitment company, currently seeking for a Production Manager for one of our clients in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The Production Manager is accountable for efficiently managing the manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, planning, and warehouse/inventory people, assets, and activities. Must have rubber applications and manufacturability experience.

Salary:
SAR 40,000 to 45,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Housing, Transportation, Schooling Allowance for Children, Insurance (with Family)

Requirements

• Must have a proven experience as a Production Manager in Plastic/Elastomer products
• Bachler's Degree or any Equivalent Education certification
• Must willing to work/relocate in Dammam, KSA
• Open to any nationality

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Mechanical, Material Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, or an equivalent discipline combined with seven to ten years’ experience in industry.
• Minimum 7 year’s work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to analyze and use data to continuously improve processes
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Lean Certification / 5S / Process Automation experience is an advantage
• Must be familiar with CNC machining and/or molding operations.
• Familiar with ERP or MES systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of Industrial Drawing/Drafting/GD&T and CNC program software tools such as CAD and CAM
• Warehouse/Inventory, Planning, and Supply Chain experience is an advantage

Core Competencies:

• Knowledge and application of industry (Energy, Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, Water Treatment, General Mechanical...), customer, and company technical standards as related to our products (e.g. static/dynamic seals, wearing, bearing parts for pressure containing and rotating applications).
• Must understand current manufacturing methods and best practices for rubber/polymer products (e.g. PEEK, PPS, PTFE, PFA, HNBR, FEPM, filler selection)
• Provide support to the MD and leadership team in overall management of technology and development requirements
• Must possess good problem resolution, communication and leadership skills.
• Negotiating skills and the ability to plan and facilitate successfully to win-win results.
• Understating polymer material selection criteria such as temperature range, pressure range, chemical resistance, wear performance, thermal stability, mechanical properties for application design and manufacturability
