Production Manager (National Batteries Company)

Job description / Role

To direct and control the manufacturing activities of the Company in order to deliver planned budgeted volumes and ensure continuous improvement in quality, process and systems; and the optimal utilization of resources.

Requirements

Education:
- Degree in Engineering
- Degree / Diploma in Industrial Management preferable but not essential.

Experience:
- Minimum 8 years experience in the battery making industry with the last 3 years having been at a similar or senior level.

Skills:
- Knowledge of design, quality, processes, manufacture of lead acid batteries, battery making machines & warranty mgt.
- Excellent analytical and coordination skills
- Computer literacy a must especially in MSExcel.
- Excellent oral/written communication & presentation skills
- Good motivator
