Role overview

As a production supervisor at Talis Historic Restoration, you would be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on historic restoration projects in the shop to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with preservation standards. This includes managing shop crews, coordinating materials and schedules, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety standards, and maintaining quality workmanship reflective of the historical significance of the structures involved.

All-staff meetings are company-wide and led by the CEO, but the production supervisor plays a supportive and participatory role. Responsibilities include:

Weekly employee meetings

Individual weekly meetings with direct reports are operational and tactical, focused on driving project execution. As the lead facilitator, the production supervisor is responsible for:

1. Meeting planning & tracking

2. Task and risk management
