Program Manager Critical Facilities Management

Job description / Role
The Program Manager is responsible for Company’s overall program management in country. This position has primary responsibility for the customer relationship and the management and direction of critical FM services, including direct management of six Area FM Managers, one Vendor Procurement / Compliance Director, and one Training Director.
Responsibilities:
• Provide executive oversight of regional facilities managers, providing overall program direction and guidance
• Primary responsibility for managing the relationship between the client, Company, and partners
• Ensure management teams are meeting contractual obligations related to vendor management
• Provide guidance and advice to management team on vendor contracts, vendor relationships, and vendor management
• Understand and advise on operations best practices, including MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, for critical and non-critical equipment and systems
• Understand and advise on annual maintenance planning across the portfolio
• Identify areas for process improvement and cost savings, work with the client to evaluate, and implement as needed
• All other duties consistent with your role as you may be assigned by Company management
Requirements
• Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience, advanced degrees preferred
• 10+ years management experience in mission critical data center environment(s)
• 10+ years personnel management experience, including prior direct management of remote teams
• English fluency, required
• Arabic fluency not required, but a benefit
• Travel for this position is estimated at up to 20%
• Experience working and living in a Gulf Coast Country
• Experience working in a Telecom environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:
• Experience working with and leading a multicultural workforce
• Experience working in a telecom environment and familiarity with international telecom standards including TIA.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required for interacting with the client, partners, Company leaders and employees, and external contractors
• Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills required for understanding and evaluating complex problems, including analyzing a problem, identifying solutions, and selecting the best solution
• Financial acumen including the ability to create and understand budgets, financial analysis, and invoicing
• Able to prioritize work based on business and customer demands
• Able to work within all levels of the organization
• Able to lead C-level discussions and conversations pertinent to facility operations
• Able to articulate concepts and ideas to a non-technical audience
• Able to understand electrical and mechanical systems, as well as other technical aspects of facilities management
