Program & Relationship Manager ME North, SAP Training & Development Institute

Purpose & Objectives

Founded in November 2012, the SAP Training and Development Institute (SAP TDI) strives to support in the creation of sustainable work possibilities by boosting the business system knowledge and entrepreneurial mindset of students, young graduates, and the experienced workforce in the region. By offering a host of programs tailored to bring SAP business skills to those who have a cultural and social understanding of a local region, the SAP TDI's initiatives help talented minds not only to find jobs but also to establish their own companies by nurturing their entrepreneurial mindset. Furthermore, SAP TDI serves as Think Tank for knowledge exchange, co-creation and co-innovation. Operating in a fast-paced "start-up" environment, the SAP TDI requires employees with hands-on and multi-tasking mentality.

Expectations & Tasks

The position holder will be responsible to oversee and program manage several activities around two flagship programs of the SAP TDI across an agreed set of geographies. As individual contributor, the Program & Relationship Manager assumes responsibility in driving adoption as well as strategic alignment of SAP's Young Professional Program as well as SAP's Dual Study Program in the targeted countries.

- SAP's Young Professional Program : The 2-3 month program covers a unique enablement plan that includes SAP software functional/technical knowledge and certification with key focus on SAP's latest innovations as well as soft skill trainings. Participants graduate from the program as SAP Associate Consultants, being immediately employable with SAP Customers and Partners.
- SAP's Dual Study Program : In partnership with top universities, the program provides students with the opportunity to take major-specific SAP trainings and certification during academic years. The extracurricular collaboration helps students to bridge the gap between university and workplace and find a job in the SAP Ecosystem.

Major responsibilities will include:

- SPOC (Single point of contact) for all strategic and executional activities relating to SAP's Young Professional Program as well as SAP's Dual Study Program towards the successful execution and delivery of the training programs for the assigned territories.
- Define, plan and execute in conjunction with SAP-internal stakeholders and/or selected institutions/universities a sustainable training delivery approach based on the predefined program model. Work closely with the TDI Operations Team to oversee and guide training execution.
- Establish relationships and build rapport SAP internally and with SAP customers/ partners in the assigned territories.
- Act as ambassador in the assigned territories and explain all Capacity Build offerings to a customer, partner, university, etc.
- Work independently and in collaboration with various departments to recommend and implement strategic plans to extend the programs' reach.
- Generate placement/employment opportunities for graduates of the TDI programs through immediate customer/partner contact or indirectly by guiding the internal customer-facing stakeholders. Act as single point of contact for placement.
- Ensure internal awareness across all levels of assigned country/business area. Be part of the management team of the MU/BA and proactively share TDI value/updates.
- Acquire, directly or through access to expert, knowledge of SAP latest product portfolio and applicable content to map, build, and tailor the YPP and Dual Study Training Roadmpas to ensure adoption
- Ensure TDI presence at all relevant events. Represent TDI on stage and/or ensure TDI executive speaker slot.
- Build references in each country for offerings

Requirements

Work Experience

- 6+ years of professional experience in the field of education, consulting, sales and/or HR.
- Experience in Instructional Design and Knowledge Management is an advantage
- Experience within the IT, Education and or Training Sector will be beneficial

Education & Qualifications / Skills & Competencies

- University degree; MS/MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
- Proven ability to build, lead and execute strategies in a cross-functional environment.
- Experienced in academic and non-academic business development & strategic GTM with partners/customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluent in English. Arabic is a plus.
- Able to build strong relationships at every level of the organization.
- Adapts well to change, is results driven and self-motivated, setting and achieving goals with minimal supervision.
- Strong project management skills, detail oriented; must be highly organized with the ability to manage towards multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Willingness to travel
