Programme Director - Ports & Marine (Rotation)

Job description / Role

We are currently working with a leading project management consultancy as they require a Programme Director - Ports & Marine to join the team on a remote posting in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all of the construction activities across multiple building projects from a PMC point of view.

Key responsibilities:
- Leading all construction activities across multiple building projects
- Assigns manpower, materials, and equipment to maximise efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals
- Ensures that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project.
- Prepares reports summarising progress of construction activities for management and clients, including formal presentations
- Serves as the primary contact with client representatives, subcontractors and government representatives

Requirements

To be considered for the role, candidates must have:
- Bachelor's degree in construction related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 25+ years of experience with 15+ years within Ports, Marine and Harbour developments
- Able to lead multi discipline teams in engineering and construction
- Commercial acumen and solid understanding of contracting strategies
- Client facing attitude with focus on commitment and being always ahead of the next challenge
