WSP are looking for a Project Control Specialist, who will be responsible for collecting, validating, compiling and issuing to the client, PMO Management; all the required deliverable at the key stages of the project life cycle.

The key objectives of the role will be to:
• Guide Project Managers through the Gateway review preparation in accordance with the Service Agreement and Procedures; ensuring compliance of Client Meeting deliverables and undertakes final compilation of the presentations to the Client.
• Lead the collection, validation and circulation of weekly Forecasts from Delivery teams to PMO and Director for their weekly meeting which supports decision making on project readiness.
• Create Procedures, Guidance and Templates (Microsoft Office) intended for Reporting and project controls and ensure implementation.
• Capture client’s meetings outcome with regards to scope, schedule, project classifications and any other instruction; proactively follows up on relevant changes.
• Coordinate between Delivery teams, PMO Departments and client to collate, review, compile Executive level presentations for Senior Management meetings; ensuring timeliness, accuracy to the required confidence level and effectiveness of information.
• Work collaboratively with the Program team, Delivery teams, and Functional teams, I monitor and maintain Programme portfolio information, which supports Senior Management and Client in special task delivery.
Proactively undertake Reporting process streamlining; and ensure compliance with new instructions from Client or Senior Management.
• Identify and develops new methods and eliminates non-value adding activities by automating compilation of Reports and Dashboards using Excel Macros.
• Communicate effectively with Client responding to request for information and/or clarifications.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from PMO Senior Management and Client.

Requirements

In order to meet the challenge you will have the following skills and experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Commerce
• Minimum of (12) years experience with Government sector in the field of data collection, reporting , following up the projects, reviewing and auditing , data analysis and recording , and dealing with Government IT regulations
• Speak, read and write Arabic
