Project Director MMC - Residential & Hotels (NEOM Site)

Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for an Project Director - MMC - Residential & Hotels to support the NEOM The Line project on a permanent basis in KSA.

Role Overview

The Project Director - MMC is responsible for managing all pre- and post-construction activities related to 2D and 3D modular manufacturing, installation, and commissioning. The primary focus is on residential assets within City Built Infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of volumetric manufacturing, including flow line and cellular manufacturing, to achieve high pre-manufactured value (PMV) across diverse, premium-quality residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership:
- Oversee and lead manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities to align with cost and programme objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to engineers and project managers.

Design & Procurement Integration:
- Collaborate during design phases to ensure alignment with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) principles.
- Align design outputs with procurement strategies to create supply chain ecosystems for sub-assemblies and finished products.

Manufacturing Expertise:
- Apply principles such as Kaizen, lean manufacturing, DFMA, BOMs, and MRP systems.
- Develop and implement work package plans for seamless project delivery.

Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across a multi-faceted organization.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans to manage expectations and deliverables.

Quality Assurance:
- Work with QC/QA teams to ensure compliance with standards using digital tools like BIM360 and COBie for inspection and testing.

Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks in collaboration with the wider project team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in volumetric manufacturing and advanced manufacturing principles for premium residential projects.
- Strong ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive leadership qualities with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record in delivering large, complex projects as a Project Lead or Director.
- Experience in building and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Delivery-focused with excellent communication skills to articulate goals and objectives.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's construction sector is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services.
- 25+ years of direct experience in consultancy and construction for mega-scale MEP projects.
- 10+ years of experience in design review, project management, and consultancy for large MEP projects.

Salary:
SAR 70,000 to 74,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
