Electrical Engineer? Experience working with Contractors? Previously worked on Hospital Projects? Hands on experience? Immediately available?
A vacancy for a Large Western MEP Contractor working on a Hospital project on a 6 month contract basis is looking for a Project Electrical Engineer, that is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Your key objectives will include;
- On site management of Electrical installations in accordance with design and specifications.
- Support to MEP Project Manager.
- Lead, manage and motivate the electrical sub-contractors and staff on site.
- Monitor electrical installation programme and production, and take action as necessary to ensure requirements are met.
- Full understanding of electrical drawings and scope of works under the contract and ability to communicate this to sub-contractors and staff on site.
- Manage Quality control of electrical installations.
- Assist with testing and commissioning
- Deliver electrical installations to meet performance targets.
- Work as part of the wider MEP team and understand how the electric installation is integrated into the the MEP design.
- Ensure others carryout their responsibilities under H&S legislation
- Implement project specific strategies for safety, risk, quality, planning, and the environment
Requirements
- Hold recognised Electrical qualification or professional status.
- Understanding the wider aspects of MEP installation and commissioning
- Understand project drivers and team drivers
- Experience of managing electrical installation on construction projects.
- Strong planning & integration
- Able to demonstrate awareness of current legislation relating to H&S
