In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and executing various civil engineering projects while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and budgetary standards. Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the construction of civil engineering projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and safety regulations.
• Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and has construction engineering experience on large projects.
• Coordinates with other functional engineers to ensure correct implementation of the project construction specifications and standards.
• Plans, coordinates, and directs the construction work and construction subcontractor to meet all construction milestone dates.
• Prepares the construction plan to ensure the efficiency, quality, safety, and performance of construction to meet project objectives.
• Must have thorough knowledge of construction practices, economic principles, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement project plans and specifications effectively.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including method statements and risk assessments.
• Monitor project progress, report on challenges and solutions, and ensure timely execution within budget constraints.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and governmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction best practices.
• Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
