Role

As a member of Project Management Team shall assist the Senior Project Engineer managing all the project management related activities for FEED development/execution of EPC for 'Installation of Skirt Piles project at offshore field for the successful delivery of the project.

Responsibilities
- Understanding project objective, Contract schedules, Company procedures, statutory/government regulations and compliance requirements.
- Manage project works through all phases to ensure project objectives are being met with regards to scope, HSE, quality within budget and schedule.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and HSE & quality procedures.
- Review of all project management related deliverables like PEP, document control procedure, HSE plan, HSE philosophy, quality plan & procedures, schedule, etc. and provide input.
- Supervision of Contractor's procurement activities and ensure alignment with Company's QA/QC requirements.
- Review of Contractor's sub-contracting documents and ensure sub-contracting activities are carried out as per schedule.
- Organize and manage progress review meetings, design review meetings etc. in collaboration.
- Organize Value Engineering, HAZID, HAZOP, Risk Assessment, Constructability studies/workshops in collaboration with Contractor and ensure the outcome/ recommendations are implemented.
- Ensure EIA recommendations are implemented.
- Review and evaluate shutdown requirements proposed by Contractor.
- Ensure discipline works and activities are carried out in compliance to the requirements.
- Monitor project progress & performance, and take mitigation actions, if required.
- Develop creative and innovative solutions that are reliable and cost effective for problems and challenges when they arise.
- Manage offshore related operations and activities related to vessels & installation.
- Manage interfaces, waivers, change orders, claims etc.
- Review Contractor's progress reports and invoices.
- Review and close-out audit items.
- Visit offshore as required to supervise Contractor's work.
- Ensure project record books are submitted in accordance to the requirements.
- Prepare presentations and project updates for Company's senior management and as required.
- Maintain good communications with stakeholders.
- Mentor the newly graduated national engineers and transfer knowledge.
- Record the lessons learnt for the project.

Requirements

Qualification and other Requirements
- BSc/BE/BTech degree or equivalent in any engineering discipline from recognized university.
- Professional membership from PMI or other International recognized body.
- Minimum 14 years of work experience in the upstream offshore Oil & Gas industry.
- Familiarity with project procedures of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards & International Standards related to project execution.
- Experience in Aramco offshore projects.
- Experience working in PMC projects will be added advantage.
- Experience working on offshore brownfield projects.
- Ability to lead multi-discipline project teams.
- Pro-active, goal-oriented and problem solver
- Fluent in English, active collaborator with good communication and team work skills.
- Awareness of values and business principles.
- Valid BOSIET/HUET training certificate to travel offshore.
