Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading company who is looking to hire a Project Accountant (Saudi National).
This is a challenging yet exciting opportunity for a young and ambitious Saudi National looking to move from Big Four to a large multinational business. This organisation is currently overseeing some of the largest infrastructure and engineering projects across the Kingdom.
This role will support the country Finance Director in developing all areas of operational finance and project related accounting as well as reporting based requirements. You will be heavily involved in areas of financial analysis, forecasting and the development of strong commentaries to ensure effective MIS capabilities across the operation and project based pipeline. The functional responsibility will also focus heavily on areas of cost management linked to working capital management, whilst also assessing risk management aligned to project completions, work-in-progress and collection cycles.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) who can demonstrate a strong regional understanding of construction or project based finance and reporting. You should be able to demonstrate sound commercial acumen coupled with strong presentation and communication skills; whereby both partnerships and influencing capabilities are introduced and rolled out across the business entity. The nature of the role and organisational fit means that the client has stated a preference for a Saudi National within the position.
