Employment: Full Time

About the Role:

Responsible to plan and manage the handover of the Riyadh Metro infrastructure to the Employer, its operator and the Public Transport Authority by working closely with the Design and Build Contractor responsible for its Design and Construction.

The Handover Project Manager is accountable for the transition from the Riyadh Metro Design and Build Contractor to a contractually and statutory compliant 'revenue operation' ready' Metro System to The Employer.

A typical week would include:
* Working with the designers and constructors in defining an efficient and effective strategy to handover the Riyadh Metro Project to the RCRC and its operator (i.e. defining and implementing the handover process),
* The timely and efficient delivery of the handover documents required by the Contract, the operator and the RCRC, (including, safety certificates, O&M manuals, and as built records, etc.).
* Readiness for handover of the project, including transfer of technology training for owner and O&M training for the O&M entity.
* Commitments for RAM (Reliability, Availability & Maintainability), Engineering Safety (Preliminary & Interface Hazard Assessments - PHA & IHA), Requirements Management, Commissioning and Handover meets the Project milestones.
* Review of quality assurance documents
* The provision of O&M manuals, risk assessments and training material as well as evidence that the assets have passed all tests and have been approved for operational use.
* This evidence will form an important part of the validation that the Client's requirements have been met to enable handover of the delivered assets.
* Liaison with the Client to provide reasonable notice on access requirements and to ensure that the documentary evidence is complete to enable approval in a timely manner
* To ensure project personnel receive appropriate briefing in handover requirements
* Liaison with all contributors including designers, suppliers and contractors to ensure they are briefed as to their roles and responsibilities to ensure a timely handover.
* Development & updating of deliverables trackers to ensure documentation is being completed and assets are being made available for operational use in accordance with the project plans
* Management of completion inspections and commissioning of new infrastructure to ensure the successful handover of assets to the respective stakeholders
* To ensure suitable training material is produced for the Client's specialist maintenance staff who will train the end users.
* To establish means, both formal and informal, to ensure that outputs are matching Client expectation.
* To ensure training data is produced and records of all training formally held on file and handed over to the Client.

Requirements

* Ability to navigate through and manage complex processes
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic, dedicated and driven to achieve high standards and results
* Ability to deal with a wealth of stakeholders; strong influencing and collaboration skills
* Outstanding written and spoken communication skills
* Technically capable
* A degree or equivalent with 20+ Year in Rail Infrastructure Works
* Membership of the Association for Project Management or other professional body
* Familiarization of O&M requirements and interdependencies
