Our client is a subsidiary of a well-established diversified business holding group from Saudi Arabia who now seek to recruit a Project Manager to their Real Estate Investment Company for a major development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on projects comprising hotels in Makkah, Residential projects in Riyadh and Industrial projects in Riyadh. This role will be as client’s representative and must be comfortable working across multiple projects.

Reporting to the Head of Development and, as our client\'s representative, the proven performer we seek for this role will be responsible for:
• Monitor the operations of all contractors and ensure all contractors are coordinating at the site level for scope of works.
• Review, monitor and update the weekly submittal schedule report.
• Review the accuracy of all contractors daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
• Monitor site logistics arrangements; site security operations; delivery and storage of equipment and materials on site.
• Assist the HSE staff to enforce environmental, health and safety standards at all times.
• Proactively intervene to prevent delay and disruption; provide solutions to site coordination issues; monitor and record delays on deliverables from consultant and contractors.
• Monitor the performance of the supervision consultant, and the compliance of contractors with approved method statements.
• Expedite issues of permits and licenses.
• Maintain log of all contractor’s major equipment on site.
• Participate in the prequalification and selection of contractors.

Requirements

• Degree qualification in Construction / Engineering / Architecture or comparable with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience on major commercial projects.
• Candidates with experience on hotels, high rise buildings and residential will be highly regarded.
• Must be able to drive projects for performance results and display proven leadership abilities.
• Major project experience essential (>USD100mill) desirable
