Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic female Program Manager / Construction Manager . This role requires a professional who can balance executive-level presentation skills with hands-on project management on-site. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing large-scale construction projects, managing contractors, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results while maintaining excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.

Description

Client Liaison & Presentation:

* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting project challenges, progress reports, and solutions in a professional and clear manner.
* Represent the project team in high-level meetings, ensuring client needs and expectations are addressed.
* Deliver regular updates on project status, timelines, risks, and budget considerations.
* Provide strategic guidance to clients to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

On-Site Project Management:

* Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring work is carried out according to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
* Manage and supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with contracts, timelines, and quality control measures.
* Monitor the day-to-day progress of the project, providing hands-on leadership and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
* Coordinate between various stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of challenges.

Risk & Issue Management:

* Identify potential risks or delays and work proactively with the team to develop mitigation strategies.
* Address any technical or operational challenges that may arise during construction, collaborating with internal teams and contractors to find solutions.

Team Leadership:

* Manage cross-functional teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and project staff, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working environment.
* Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence on-site, ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals and standards.

Reporting & Documentation:

* Prepare and deliver regular reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and financial status reports.
* Maintain accurate records of project documentation, contracts, change orders, and site progress.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
* Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, ideally in a program or construction management role.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, timelines, and quality standards.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with clients, stakeholders, and teams at all levels.
* Ability to balance office-based tasks (presentations, reporting) with on-site management and supervision.
* Experience managing contractors and ensuring project milestones are met efficiently and on time.
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project needs.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
