Project Manager - Philanthropy - Saudi National
Our client, a not for profit foundation providing training for youth requires a Project / Program Manager for Philanthropy. This position is instrumental in planning and managing the principal’s portfolio of philanthropic initiatives and projects and ensuring that the principal’s strategy towards providing learning opportunities for disadvantaged and disabled children throughout the Kingdom. We welcome only Saudi national candidates to apply.
Reporting to the Executive Manager of the Principal’s Private Office, the Project Manager Philanthropy coordinates the work of the Assistant Project Manager Philanthropy, works alongside the Principal’s strategic partners and directs and oversees the work of third parties and suppliers involved in the execution of each project, defining the Principal’s philanthropic strategy, and in selecting future philanthropic initiatives.
Suitable candidates will have a bachelor’s degree with high academic achievements, a Master's degree considered a plus with a Project Management Professional certification desired but not required. You should have 5+ years of relevant experience in a government entity (ministry or agency) or private sector company with a minimum of 3 years of project management experience in initiatives with increasing level of complexity and previous experience in foundations, not for profit or social enterprises would be considered a plus. You should be fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) and be passionate about Saudi national heritage
You will be disciplined, well organized and capable to manage large and complex projects; Results driven, energetic, used to work under pressure and tight deadlines; Independent and capable to work under limited supervision; Exceptionally capable to develop realistic project plans, managing day-to-day activities, resolving issues and identifying and mitigating risks; Motivated by philanthropic causes and the opportunity to make a long lasting difference in social issues; Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) and Project Management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project).
