Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an international Engineering consultancy who provide multi-disciplinary engineering services. Our client is looking to hire a Proposals Development Engineer in their oil and gas division in Damman, KSA.
You will report to the General Manager and be responsible for the end-to-end completion of high quality proposals, quotation, bids and tender responses which are both technically and commercially compliant with the clients specifications. You will be responsible for the registration and prequalification of potential client's with a view to streamlining the BD and sales process and assist identification of customers needs. You will also meet customers to give presentations of all services in the business, act as a proposals leader and have the ability to break down the RFQ and RFP to the scope for the different internal and external service suppliers / disciplines.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant technical discipline. You should have a minimum of 5 years' KSA experience in the oil & gas industry within a proposals / development role. You should be fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English, have an extensive network in the oil & gas / petrochemical markets and be an excellent developer of relationships. In addition, you should be able to operate in MS office and CRM software.
