Public Health Design Manager

Job description / Role

Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for an A Public Health Design Manager on a permanent basis in Riyadh, KSA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Design Consultant’s work on public health systems, including potable water supplies, fire water supplies, wastewater networks, stormwater networks, and chilled water networks.
- Provide technical guidance to Design Consultants through regular review meetings and formal requests for information.
- Act as the single point of contact for technical issues between the Design Consultant and various functions, sectors, and departments.
- Lead design reviews of technical deliverables, ensuring compliance with project Codes, Standards, Guidelines, and Requirements.
- Develop consistency in design solutions across the project.
- Document key risks in the Risk Register and engage in mitigation discussions.
- Escalate high-risk design issues to the relevant Subject Matter Expert.
- Drive innovation and best practices in design delivery by appointed consultants, considering sustainability and operations and maintenance.

- Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or equivalent; Chartered Membership of a recognized professional institution/organization or Professional Engineer preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with substantial expertise in the required discipline; exposure to the Middle East is advantageous.
- Significant industry presence and comprehensive knowledge of Codes, Standards & Guidelines related to electrical distribution systems and energy storage, as well as fire detection systems, communication systems, and extra-low voltage distribution.
- Deep knowledge of the sustainability industry.
- Strong communication skills to articulate clear technical direction, with excellent social, networking, and presentation skills.

Salary:
SAR 35,000 to 52,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
