Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: Handle the representation duties to government and non-government agencies and departments in order to ensure company’s interest are protected. Keeping abreast with current Government laws and Changes also update Top Management on any changes. He is responsible for leading Corporate Affairs for Keden International, consistent with corporate affairs strategies and platforms, including communications, government and regulatory affairs, issues and crisis management.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collect and provide periodical updates from the government authorities on all Labor and immigration rules to keep the HR department abreast of the changes in the rules and procedures.
- Deal with general inquires regarding PRO functions promptly and efficiently to enhance the level of department service.
- Renew, update and maintain the trade licenses and other government certificates of all company’s legal entities in KSA to ensure that the documents are up-to-date.
- Renew and maintain all company’s leases in KSA before its expiry, which includes offices, company apartments.
- Arrange processing attestation of companies’ legal documentations & employees qualification certificates as and when required.
- Accurate preparation of documents according to the requirement of the legal authorities.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company and employee documents at all times.
- To monitor & renew all company related licenses prior to their expiry date.
- Act as company’s representative in all the government related issues.
- Responds to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct by evaluating or recommending & develop & oversee a system for uniform handling for such violations. Attend the complex cases in Courts, Ministry of Commerce on behalf of company (if required)
- Developing excellent relations with all Government Offices.
- Management is informed of all new developments and of the progress and results of court cases.
- Negotiates and draft contracts with the Mall Management and Landlords.
- Plan for New Shops and Café in terms of Legal Documents, Govt Requirements and All Mandatory Licenses should be procuring before the inauguration.
- Obtain Government approval on Company / employee documentation in order to ensure full compliance in line with Government laws and regulations.
- Review contracts and agreements and ensure their compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as their protection.
- Perform leasing renewals in a joint-effort with Retail Property Management. Checking due dates and renewal of the same.
- Pro Active and advance notification about any changes in government rules & regulations.
- Responds to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct by evaluating or recommending & develop & oversee a system for uniform handling for such violations.
- Re-Negotiations with Mall managements if the Business Requires.
- Advise the business on any legal issues
- Provide local crisis management, escalate to segment when required.

Requirements

- High School or Equivalent ,Computer literate with experience of MS Office applications
- Experienced in visa and other transactions, knowledge of KSA Labor Law.
- Saudi National preferred.
- Experienced in visa and other transactions and knowledge of KSA Labor Law.
- Well-developed skills in written and spoken English & Arabic.
- Microsoft Office and computer literacy a must
- Able to work under pressure to demanding time pressures and to meet deadlines
- Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- High level of professionalism and personal presentation at all times
- Able to understand and adapt to cultural sensitivities
- Problem solving/lateral thinking skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization

Our Expansion:

We have huge expansion plans in the kingdom and opening 20-22 outlets in 2016 in and around Saudi Arabia. With this expansion comes the requirement of manpower for the business extension.
