QA/QC Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

KBR is looking for a QA/QC electrical engineer to carry out technical and supervisory responsibilities based on knowledge of international standards and codes related to mechanical works in accordance with the organization's standard.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and follow up electrical progress of works, installation, and commissioning of different units of the SATORP.
• Plan and control the inspection of all electrical works and related activities.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical works.
• Monitor the final inspection of completed electrical works before handing over to the client.
• Review electrical shop drawings and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents.
• Review electrical materials submittals for compliance with contract documents.
• Review electrical specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents.
• Implement the SATORP electrical quality assurance plan.
• Review as-built drawings of electrical works, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree holder in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in oil and gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills.
