QA/QC Manager

Job description / Role

Oversees QA/QC role on all assigned job sites/projects: quality walks, conducting inspections, validating work per plans/specs, coordinating field testing. Supervises multiple sites.

• Maintains relationships with projects managers, inspectors, onsite engineers, sub-contractors, etc.
• Has the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers, including senior leadership; identifying and communicating with the appropriate Subject Matter Experts when analyzing a process.
• Demonstrates the ability to prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders within the organization and project.
• Acts as the subject matter expert to the project team. Promotes Lean concepts and functions as an effective change agent throughout the project
• Manages and oversees project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements.
• Determine the QA/QC requirements based on the scope of work and project requirements.
• Review contracts performance for conformance to our standards and project requirements.
• Manages the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, inspection, documentation, and operations activities including: Planning duties within the QA/QC and related work schedules;

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience and above in similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural.
• Advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written in Arabic and English, with all internal organization departments, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Strong coordination and organization skills, with strict emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to develop and manage non-conformance, deficiencies, and reporting programs, including root cause analysis.
• Ability to ensure correct codes, standards, job specifications, project procedures, government regulations are properly identified, correctly specified in detail, and met or exceeded.
• High level understanding of system, processes and ISO standards
