QAQC Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join a leading contracting company in the KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing quality assurance and quality control across major infrastructure and building projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC plans, procedures, and checklists.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify materials, workmanship, and construction activities.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including ITPs, method statements, and quality reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients regarding quality-related matters.
• Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and ensure closure.
• Support project handover by completing quality records and as-built documentation.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience with main contracting companies.
• Sector Background: Strong experience in infrastructure projects (utilities, urban development, civil works) and/or building projects (high-rise, commercial, mixed-use).
• Solid knowledge of QA/QC standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Familiar with international codes and client specifications.
• Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• UAE-based candidates preferred.
