About the job:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC manager (site) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance and quality control functions across construction projects, ensuring compliance with international standards, client specifications, and company procedures. This role will oversee the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system (QMS) and drive continuous improvement to achieve excellence in project delivery.

Key responsibilities/deliverables

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project quality plan (PQP) in alignment with contractual and ISO requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, local regulatory codes, and project-specific quality standards.
• Lead internal and external quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities for construction works and subcontractors.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
• Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure quality is integrated into all project phases.
• Monitor and control the non-conformance report (NCR) process, ensuring timely closure and preventive action implementation.
• Coordinate with client representatives for inspections, approvals, and quality review meetings.
• Provide training and mentorship to site QA/QC engineers and inspectors to enhance quality awareness and technical competence.
• Prepare periodic quality reports, performance dashboards, and metrics for senior management.
• Manage quality documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for audits and project handover.

Qualifications and experience

• Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in the Gulf region.
• Strong background in quality management within construction, engineering consultancy, or EPC projects.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, QA/QC procedures, and documentation control systems.
• Proven experience in developing and managing QMS implementation across multidisciplinary projects.
• Familiarity with major international standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, IEC, etc.) and project quality requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with clients and internal teams.

Language proficiency requirements

Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
