QHSSE Administrator

Job description / Role

- To ensure compliance where appropriate with the Company’s procedures and Policies in accordance with the requirement of the ISM Code and the ISO 9001 / 14001 & OHSAS 18001 standards.
- To monitor the application of the Company’s Policies.
- To monitor the effectiveness of the SMS & BMS Systems.
- To assist in the investigation of all incidents occurring onboard the vessels and in conjunction with Shipboard Safety Officer, Master and ensuring effective corrective action is implemented.
- Conduct and keep records of all HSE trainings and report to QHSSE Manager on monthly basis (Fleet).
- Conduct safety and health & hygiene inspections with the Shipboard Safety Officer.
- Participate in Safety Meetings.
- Promote the SOC program and all company’s initiatives and campaigns.
- Carry out appropriate SMS familiarization/Safety Induction where required.
- Coach the crew on an ongoing basis regarding correct compliance with the Safety Management System.
- Assist in any other matters as requested by the QHSSE Manager.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an offshore / marine industry.
- Worked in a multinational environment and demonstrate diversity and inclusiveness.
- Previously worked in HSE field with Saudi Aramco as a client.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledgeable in ISM and ISPS codes.
- Working knowledge of certification by authorities and Flag States.
