Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our business is currently looking for an experienced Manager to ensure the Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (QHSSE) aspects of our projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, across the Atkins, Faithful and Gould and Acuity brands. They will be based in our Riyadh Office, and will be required to visit office and project sites periodically for inspections to ensure the company standards are being complied at all levels / stages.

Responsibilities:

- QHSE Manager will be responsible in ensuring our people and partners meet the standards set in our corporate and regional systems, as well as by our Clients
- Formulation of new procedures/processes pertaining to QHSSE aspects and relevant to our operations, to promote continuous improvements
- Ensure all Atkins/F+G project staff as well as Contractor staff are knowledgeable of QHSSE aspects
- Carry out office and site visits and audits to ensure QHSSE requirements are being complied with at all levels and locations
- Conduct QHSSE awareness training to our people periodically as required
- Participate in progress meetings and provide QHSSE related reports to country management
- Ensure all employees working at site are provided with essential PPE and it is being used
- Conduct internal audits as required on all Operations and recommend remedial action where required
- Develop and implement business continuity and crisis management plans
- Act as a central point for any security and/or quality concerns identified by our people

Requirements

Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years' experience in QHSSE/similar roles in a Construction/Project Management or a Consultancy Company
- At least 3 years' experience in Management level in an Engineering or Project Management environment.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related discipline
- Lead auditor certifications in ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS18001 would be an advantage
- Exposure working in GCC is preferred
- Need to be flexible and adaptable in resolving complex issues
- Good communication and interpersonal skills of the highest calibre
- Capable of reviewing existing operations, with aim of suggesting and implementing improvements
- Effective in building good working relationships with stakeholders and internal teams
- Able to provide advice, information and training to project teams in all aspects of the QHSE management to ensure the best results
