QMS Group Leader - Major Operator

This QMS Group Leader will lead, advise and coordinate with Admin Areas for implementation of all quality assurance, compliance, safety, asset integrity, risk management, and customer satisfaction for a diverse services portfolio. The scope of services includes Safety, Industrial Security, Fire Protection, Marine, Aviation, Transportation, Mechanical Shops, Community Services, Training, Development, and Medical Services.

Below are samples of activities that the QMS Group Leader would be involved in and will oversee.

• Establish, implement and maintain a Quality Management System, and a Performance Management Framework
• Oversee, advise, and coordinate quality processes development and streamlining
• Development quality plans, and coordinate audits and reviews as set out in the quality plan
• Coordinate staff training in quality as required
• Define quality requirements for suppliers and contractors to ensure they are included in contracts
• Revise and approved quality assurance deliverables
• Conduct, participate, coordinate, and oversee assessments, reviews, and audits
• Issue and rack corrective and preventive action requests made during audits
• Develop reports to support measured KPI’s
• Coordinate closure reports including performance statistics for benchmarking
• Identify lessons learned with key staff
• Coordinate customer satisfaction surveys

Requirements

• Suitable candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline. For assigned Risk Professionals, a bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related discipline.
• Twelve (12) years related experience is required.

Certification / License:
Internal analytical skills certification, which may be waived with possession of an equivalent professional certification, a relevant graduate degree and/or significant demonstrable work record in the practice of planning & performance management.

Preferred Training:
• Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance and Excel is required.
• Demonstrated capability and track record in the practice of planning & performance management and in the use of business intelligence tools are required.
• Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.
• For assigned Risk Professionals, demonstrable knowledge of leading risk management governance and control practices is required. Six (6) years of direct risk management-related experience is required. Possession of a relevant professional certification (e.g., IRM, GARP, PRIA) is preferred.
