• Ceramic wall and floor tiles
• Façade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products
• Precast concrete products and architectural elements
• Office and home furniture and interior décor products

Job purpose

To ensure all wood and joinery works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. Oversees inspections, manages non-conformities, coordinates with project and design teams, and maintains quality documentation to ensure high-quality, defect-free products while promoting continuous improvement.

Key accountability areas

Drawing conformity:

• Ensure all fabrication and installation works strictly adhere to approved drawings, specified dimensions, and embedment details.
• Review technical drawings and shop details for compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Liaise with design and engineering teams to resolve discrepancies, ambiguities, or conflicts identified in the design documents.

Inspection compliance:

• Implement and comply with the latest approved RFIs (Requests for Information) and inspection procedures.
• Monitor and verify that all inspection comments and non-conformities are addressed and rectified in a timely manner.
• Represent the QA/QC department during joint inspections with consultants, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.

Continuous improvement:

• Contribute to the enhancement of production and quality assurance processes to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) for all identified non-conformance reports (NCRs) to determine corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure timely implementation and monitoring of corrective action reports (CARs) and maintain records for continuous improvement tracking.

Project execution conformity:

• Verify that only approved materials, finishes, and fittings are utilized in production and installation.
• Coordinate with project teams to clarify technical and execution-related requirements, ensuring proper interpretation and application of project specifications.
• Identify, report, and escalate any quality concerns or deviations observed during production or installation to prevent recurrence.

Documentation and reporting:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of all inspections, non-conformities, observations, and associated RCA/CAR reports.
• Ensure that all quality records, inspection checklists, and compliance reports are updated, accurate, and properly archived.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to confirm effective implementation and closure of all quality-related issues.

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

• Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Health, safety, and environment:

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Academic qualification

Bachelor degree in any relevant field
