Quality Assurance Manager - Construction - Transferable Iqama

Opportunity to join an expanding construction company in Saudi Arabia working on civil and building projects across the Kingdom.

Responsibilities will include:
- Assures consistent quality of service by developing and enforcing construction processes and procedures according to the company ISO certification
- Devising, establishing and monitoring a company’s ISO quality procedures, standards and specifications;
- Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met;
- Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;
- Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety;
- Making sure that construction processes meet international and national standards
- Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency;
- Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures;
- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing reports;
- Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them;
- Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business;
- Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors;
- Achieving quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews;
- Preparing and completing action plans;
- Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards;
- Identifying and resolving problems;
- Developing quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses;
- identifying critical control points and preventive measures;
- Establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.

Requirements

- 10 years experience in the construction industry as Quality Assurance Manager
- Experienced in the implementation and management of QA systems ISO9001
- Must be based in Saudi Arabia on a single status basis and have a transferable Iqama
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
- Process improvement, analyzing information, strategic planning, quality engineering, attention to detail, dealing with complexity
