Job description / Role

CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- Lead overall Quality Control function by ensuring incoming materials, in-process products and finished goods are tested with following defined strategy within the agreed consumable, manpower and capital expenditure budget to provide management timely and accurate product quality information.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality control activities by adopting latest methods, techniques, systems to provide timely, accurate and cost effective quality information to the management
Requirements
- Hands on experience required in the following
- Infant formula / nutrition industry
- ISO 17025 laboratory
- Managerial /supervisory from complex laboratory operation including chemistry laboratory
- Strong in microbiology laboratory & practical knowledge particularly with pathogen testing
- Strong in results interpretation, scientific data interpretation and trending skills
- Strong in data, trend, root cause analysis, investigation and problem solving skills
- Strong in statistical data analysis
