Tasks and responsibilities

The Quality Manager:
- Issues of the appropriate documentation.
- Submits of established reporting.
- Ensures healthy and safe working conditions for subordinate employees.
- Organize of works to control the quality of products manufactured by the enterprise.
- Methodologically supports of issues within his competence.
- Ensures the verification of material arriving at the enterprise (raw materials, semi-finished products, components), as well as the compliance of their quality with established standards and state regulation;
- Carries out the measures to improve the quality of products, manages the preparation of it for state and others certifications;
- Supervises the development and implementation of: quality management system; standards, norms and indicators regulating product quality; the most advanced methods providing for the automation and mechanization of control operations, the creation of special means for these purposes;
- Participates in the development and implementation of HACCP, GMP and Food Safety approaches in the company;
- Participates in the defining of CCP as well as the measures to its control;
- Controls of the quality of the products manufactured by the enterprise in accordance with the requirements of standards, approved samples (standards) and technical documentation, terms of supplies and contracts;
- Ensures the production of high-quality and competitive products;
- Is engaged in ensuring operational control at all stages of the production process;
- Controls the quality of finished products, compliance with the requirements for storage conditions in the divisions of the enterprise and in the warehouses of raw materials, materials, semi-finished products, components, finished products;
- Elaborates of plans (schedules) for internal inspections, audits and tests to ensure the compliance with the established standards and state regulation;
- Coordinates plans (schedules) with departments of the enterprise;
- Organizes the work of internal laboratory;
- Organizes registration of the results of control operations, keeping records of indicators of product quality, defects and its causes, drawing up periodic reports on the quality of products.;
- Elaborates of regulatory documents for the quality of the product, hygiene rules and standards;
- Supervises the work on the analysis of complaints, the study of the causes of defects and violations of production technology, the obtaining of rejects and products of reduced grades, develops proposals for its elimination;
- Organizes random inspections of the: quality of finished products, raw materials, ingredients, semi-finished products; quality and condition of processing equipment and tools; production, storage and transportation conditions of products;
- Participates in conducting internal audits of the company's divisions, audits of the other party;
- Provides control over the testing of finished products and the issuing of documents certifying the quality of products;
- Provides control over the preparation of complaints in case of violations by suppliers of requirements for the quality of supplies;
- Ensures the control of the timely preparation of methods and technological instructions for the current control of the product manufacturing process;
- Provides control over the state of control and measuring instruments at the enterprise and the timeliness of their submission for appropriate verification;
- Provides control over the provision of quality department with the necessary technical documentation.
- Takes part in the work to determine the range of measured parameters and optimal standards for measurement accuracy, as well as to select the necessary means of their implementation
- Participates in experiments, commissioning and other work on the introduction and development of new technologies, in equipment testing, in the acceptance of new and repaired equipment, buildings and structures under reconstruction;
- Organizes training, instruction and periodic testing of knowledge of subordinate personnel;
- suspends production in case of non-compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents and notifies the Manager of company about such cases;
- Participates in the group for consideration of complaints from consumers of final products on quality and safety;
- Studies the reasons that cause the production of non-compliant products, participates in the development and implementation of measures to eliminate non-conformities;
- Develops and approves the budget and development plans of the Quality Department;
- Submits applications for tools, spare parts, materials, personal protective equipment for Quality Department;
- Ensures compliance with labor and fire safety rules during the work;
- Checks the correctness of the results obtained by employees working under his leadership;
- Performs the official orders of his immediate manager;
- Adheres to confidentiality in working with official documents;
- Supervises the employees of the Quality Department and organizes work to improve their qualifications;
- Explains and distributes responsibilities among the Quality Department staff and agrees on job profiles for the Quality Department;
- Constantly improves his professional level and qualification;


The Quality Manager is responsible for:
- For non-performance or untimely performance of the duties and functions assigned by this job profile within the limits of the powers;
- For failure to notify the HACCP team of identified problems in the Food Safety System;
- For non-compliance with the rules of internal labor regulations, labor protection, safety, industrial sanitation;
- For disclosure of information about the company, which is a commercial secret;
- For non-compliance or improper compliance with the requirements of internal regulations of the company and management orders;
- For offenses committed in the course of his activities, within the limits established by applicable administrative, criminal and civil legislation;
- For inflicting material damage to the company within the limits established by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation;
- For improper use of the given official powers, as well as their use for personal purposes;


Must know:

The Quality Manager must know and apply in his work:
- Production technology of the company's products;
- Legislative and normative-legal acts, methodical and other guiding materials concerning production activity of the company;
- International and local food safety standards and be guided by them in his work;
- The procedure for certification of facility and products;
- Organization of recording, procedure and timing of reporting on product quality;
- Environmental standards and regulations;
- The procedure for issuing and studying of the claims for the quality of raw materials, semi-finished products, components and finished products;
- Rules for testing and acceptance of products;
- Experience of leading domestic and foreign enterprises in achieving high levels of product quality and organizing its control;
- Production capacities, technical characteristics, purpose and modes of operation of the equipment, rules for its operation;
- Legislative and regulatory legal acts, methodological and other guiding materials for product quality management;
- The procedure for assessing the quality of industrial products;
- System of state supervision and control over product quality;
- Methods of data analysis and its log booking;
- Systems, methods and means of technical control;
- Basics of economics, organization of production, of labor and management;
- Advanced using of PC and communicative tools;
- Ethics of business communication;
- Basics of labor legislation.

Qualification requirements
- A person with a higher technical education and work experience in the specialty in appropriate positions at food industry enterprises for more than 5 years at the position of the Quality Manager, previous experience at Egg Products & liquid Eggs is a PLUS.
