Quantity Surveyor - Facility Management

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor in the Facility Management sector for one of our clients in Saudi Arabia. The role is based in Hassan Island - Umluj, RSG. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing project costs, ensuring that all aspects of building projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your expertise will help us optimize resources and enhance project efficiencies, contributing to our commitment to excellence in facility management services.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed cost analysis for facility management projects
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts
- Assist in contract negotiation and management
- Oversee procurement processes and supplier selection
- Monitor project progress and expenditures against budget
- Prepare reports on project costs, financial performance, and value engineering
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and architects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide advice on financial implications of project variations and claims
- Perform risk assessment and management throughout the project lifecycle

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in facility management
- Strong understanding of cost management and financial reporting
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with local construction laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Fluency in Arabic and English is a plus

Salary:
SAR 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
