• Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor

• Reporting to: Contracts Manager

Job Summary:

The Quantities Surveyor - MEP holds the responsibility to supervise quantities and material management with a strong record of project risk evaluation, contractor dispute resolution, cost variation analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
• Perform risk analysis evaluations.
• Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs.
• Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.
• Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
• Provide advice to project team on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
• Prepare, submit and negotiate project final accounts.
• Manage commercial vetting of sub-contractor tenders and contracts.
• Prepare and manage certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
• Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.
• Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.
• Assist and supervise Site Quantities Surveyors in evaluation, reporting and KPIs
• Assists the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager in all related duties.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields of study from an internationally recognized university.
• To be successful at this role, you should have not less than 8 years of experience in quantity surveying on large scale construction developments.
• Fluency in the English language is mandatory.
• Native Arabic Speaker
