Regional Customer Manager, Modern Trade (East)
Job Description
Position Purpose
- To grow volume and profit in line with sales objectives and drive delivery of business plans across all customers via:
- Development and execution of appropriate sales/marketing strategies
- Teamwork with all internal and external interfaces
- Detailed planning and organization
- Focus on POB
Key Accountabilities
- Liaison with Regional Business Manager to agree priorities and targets with key customers
- Set and agree investment levels, objectives, and priorities for specific customers
- Monitor, analyse and report on performance - integrate key learning into future plans
- Direct Regional Account Executives (where appropriate) to meet objectives
- Train, develop and motivate staff ensuring clear roles and direction supported by actions plans and reporting
- Meet agreed distribution, pricing, promotion, and merchandising targets in line with POB & MSL
- Develop new customer contacts where possible
- Identify and execute additional business opportunities
- Provide accurate customer forecasting and planning
- Liaison with Field Sales team & Merchandising Teams
- Ensure compliance with structured call format and monitor their effectiveness in each channel
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
Requirements
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years' experience within a structured sales function in a Mutli-national FMCG organization
- Solid understanding of the Saudi market
- Established relationships with key customers across the market
Languages:
- English and Arabic required
