Regional Design Manager

Job description / Role

Western Main Contractor is seeking to engage a Design Manager with strong experience to the Interior Fit Out , Refurbishment & New Build . Looking for sector experience within Commercial , Residential , Retail & Industrial.

Are you a Design Manager capable of leading a team & growing a department?

You will be managing 2 Design Managers , 5 Design Coordinators , In House CAD & Draughtsman for the business. Working closely with the Operations Manager & General Manager you will be the eyes & ears leading the DESIGN Department.

Our European client is looking for an individual that understands the dynamic pace that the construction main contracting market moves at . You will have the client facing skills needed for front end stakeholder management & presentations.

Technically you will understand program , design and build ability . You will have a track record of managing and driving the design process . You will not be led by consultants but work with them together opn the path to project success. This is a fast paced and demanding contractor so travel , meetings and long days will come as standard . This is not the role for someone seeking a quiet life working for a Developer in the Kingdom.

This group turnovers £500 Million Globally and is growing so it has very much a family feel opposed to being a number within a PLC.

Salary:
SAR 45,000 to 52,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Following is key for our client :

Prior GCC Experience. Strong Technical Background be that Civil Engineering or Architectural – Degree. Main Contractor or Interior Fit Out Contracting Experience. Solid Communication skills capable of running 20 Staff that will grow to 75 with the current business plan. You must have a solid exposure to both internal fit out and new build construction projects.
