Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with extensive travel nationally
65-75,000 SAR (inclusive of allowances) + benefits

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a very experienced Sales Manager to join a multinational original equipment manufacturer for their Riyadh office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sale professional to join a highly successful and internationally based organization currently operating across five continents and globally employing 15,000 staff with an annual turnover in excess $4 billion USD.

Leading and managing a team the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales objectives through the promotion of internationally recognised branded industrial products / treatment equipment to a variety of customers within construction, municipal and industrial markets. Customers include end-users (MOWE, NWC, SWCC etc.); operation, service companies; construction / contractors; consultant engineers.

Brief role / responsibilities:
- Identifying, evaluating and establishing routes to their strategic vertical markets;
- Managing Area Sales Managers, planning and executing marketing and sales activities e.g. customer seminars, sales visits, technical training sessions;
- Build relationships with consultants, contractors and end-users to support business development;
- Develop distribution channels to ensure the successful selling of products.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience within the Saudi Arabian “business to business” sales of Water, Wastewater Treatment equipment (essential); in either the construction, municipal or industrial industries:
- Experienced in the pumping or an adjacent industry (preferred, not essential);
- Strategic and tactical approach to developing new markets and channels to markets within Saudi Arabian based distributors (essential);
- Leading and managing an experienced team of Sales Managers (essential); setting actions plans and executing with a sales team
- Fluent Arabic and English speaker (essential)
