Job description / Role
• Responsible for the daily and monthly financial activities and KPIs related to local and regional supply chain.
• Working closely with department managers to ensure follow-up on agreed deliverables.
• Providing management with the necessary tools to make sound business decisions.
• Responsibilities include all aspects of production, operations, export and procurement accounting including reporting, planning and project management support locally and regionally.
• This role is expected to develop into a regional role within the first year.
• As such the applicant should expect travel activity in the region.
• The role is a high profile role where the ability to interact and present to top management will be required.
• As such presentation skills and an ability to process large volumes of data and present the essence of the data is needed.
• In addition, the role includes supporting the business on day to day error finding and analysis, developing regional supply chain KPIs in collaboration with supply chain teams across MENA and lead the application of CAPEXs on major investment projects locally and abroad.
Requirements
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask and communicate highly-detailed financial information to a variety of audiences.
• Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
• Strong professional project leadership skills since the role is very independent and requires a self-driven person.
• Assertive personality.
• Self-motivated.
• Leverages understanding of key business drivers (Customers, Consumers, Competitors, Costs and People).
• A Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business is required.
• At least four years of experience working in accounting and minimum 7 years total experience or 5 years in supply chain logistics tied to the dairy industry.
