Employment: Full Time

The SC Operations Business Leader will be the key contact between the regional SC team and the Company’s leader in a specific region, providing a consolidated view of supply chain.

He/she will be responsible for supporting the regional SC strategy for the division and for aligning the Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain partners to deliver optimum results.

Accountabilities

Specific duties of this position may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Be the representative voice between the division and the SC
- Align Regional Business strategy with overall Regional Supply chain OGSM
- Participate in Divisional product portfolio & innovation planning (phase gate process), ensuring strong SC Regional and Functional alignment as needed
- Bring focus to critical service and quality issues and ensure regional prioritization and effective resolution
- Develop long term capacity plans for the plants
- Drive best practices sharing – in manufacturing, logistics and procurement – in the region he/she is located
- Participate/support manufacturing footprint studies
- Support the regional Business leader with the required SC information to enable a proper management of the division
- Lead relevant projects such as significant capital investments, entry in new market segments, manufacturing and/or logistics footprint review, etc.

- Service (DIFOT) on target
- Best practices implemented regionally
- Costs & Inventories delivered on Budget

Requirements

- Engineering degree preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Planning or Manufacturing areas.
- A broad understanding of SC processes and its interfaces is required
- Demonstrated team leadership, strategic influencing and communication skills are critical for this position
- Strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of financial measurements and key performance indicators for Supply Chain
