Description
Scope of Service:
• Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Unit E-3
Hours of Operation:
• 24 hours per day, 7 days a week
No. of Beds:
• 15
Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Unit is an acute 15 bed unit. The patient population includes Saudi and Non-Saudi Nationals, 14 years of age and up. Patients are admitted with various hematological disorders, including:
• Acute and Chronic Leukemia
• Aplastic Anemia
• Multiple Myeloma
• Sickle Cell Anemia
• Burkitt's Lymphoma
• Thalassemia
• Myelodysplastic Syndrome
• ITP; TTP
• Autologous Bone Marrow Transplantation
• Bone Marrow Donors
• Post BMT supportive treatments
E-3 provides supervision from senior staff nurses to nursing students, including interns and interim staff nurses.

• Registered Nurse with current nursing license from country of origin
