Scope of Service:
- Ophthalmology Department

The Department of Ophthalmology at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre provides the best quality care for treatment of medical and surgical eye conditions. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for those we serve by improving sight and preventing blindness through compassionate patient care, innovative research and educational programs that advances the knowledge and skills of practicing ophthalmologists everywhere, now and for future generations. The Ophthalmology Department is deeply involved with clinical education for Resident and Interns for Medical and Optometry field. Our patients have access to a complete range of services in Ophthalmology by the multidisciplinary teams of ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, specialist nurses and technicians. Specialist services are provided by ophthalmologists trained in the appropriate sub-specialty.
